How The Sellability Score Works

Once you receive your Sellability Score, you'll be given the option of having a Sellability Score Professional Advisor conduct a Sellability Assessment. This includes a 24–page Sellability Report and a consultation with a Sellability Score Professional Advisor.

Your full report includes your performance on eight factors linked to sellability, along with suggestions for improving your score and the corresponding value of your company.

The full report contains valuable insights, such as:

  • Suggestions for boosting the value of your company
  • How potential buyers view your company
  • Whether your company is easy or difficult to find buyers for
  • Important questions to ask before finalizing the sale

The higher your Sellability Score, the more sellable – and valuable – your business is likely to be.

The Science Behind The Sellability Score

The Sellability Score was developed using a quantitative survey of business owners with between $50,000 and $100,000,000 in annual revenue. In addition, a quantitative survey of Merger & Acquisition (M&A) professionals was completed.

Using various statistical techniques including a factor, regression and correlation analysis, an algorithm that predicts the sellability of a company was created.
